On second thoughts

I looked over some of the my older posts from the old blog on Wordpress and I looked over the Pico entries and ... I dunno about you, but none of those posts feel like posts I want to keep.

Which is saying a LOT about my writing/blogging over the past few years.

I am more inclined to bring in the posts from the writefreely instance instead.

There was once a time when I would chronicle my days on my blog. Then I married into the military and instead of spending some time figuring out what was ok to talk about was not okay to talk about, I just stopped blogging altogether. It seemed to be the safer option. I mean, why tempt fate and accidentally write about something that I might get into trouble over (or get the hubby in trouble over, for that matter). Just stop writing about my days - right?

But I have found that that has isolated me a bit. I no longer really have any real interaction with people anymore. And while I know that social media (the twitters and facebooks of the world) have pretty much obliterated the blogs ... I think that had I kept writing about not-me stuff, I would have kept my "audience" such as it was.

So today ... I am going to bring over the writefreely posts and maybe work on figuring out how to change themes. And start from there.
